Day 2 Renfrew Ontario to Sault Ste Marie Ontario

We woke to sunshine and cool temps but no rain so we were feeling good. A quick breakfast and a couple of geocaches near the campground and we were on our way.

The beautiful pond view outside our camper this morning.

We stayed at a very nice and clean KOA Campground

Even though the day started nice once again we ran into showers and downpours. We did see some nice views of the North shore of Lake Huron.

The Adventure Begins June 25, 2017

All packed and ready to go. The goal for Day 1 was to get across the border and stop about 50 miles to the West of Ottawa. I wanted to be out of the house by noon and we made it . . . even early as it was 11:37 when we pulled out of the driveway.

1st stop was the Border Crossing at Rousses Point NY. We were hoping for a short line but it seems like a lot of Canadians like this crossing as we were the only car from the States in the line. When we finally made it to the front of the line the Border Patrol Agent asked us a few questions and sent us on our way. Big sigh of relief and we were in Canada in less than an hour.

The day started sunny but shortly after the border crossing we drove into rain and heavy downpours at times. Glad this wasn't a big driving day as it was no fun. We crossed out of Quebec and took the traditional picture for the new province and hoped the rain would let up before we stopped in Renfrew.

A final note: Posting will probably not happen everyday since we are finding internet service to be limited and slow.
