Day 7 Edmonton Alberta to Fort St John, British Columbia (Mile 52) of the Alaska Highway

Happy Canada Day : Canada is celebrating 150 years so there are lots of local celebrations going on today
Finally a picture perfect day . . . mostly sunny and it warmed up to the high 70's.
We started the day just outside of Edmonton and continued to drive North and West. A quick stop in Grand Prairie Alberta for some groceries and we were on our way.

A quick new Province pic

Al at the giant beaver in Beaverton  . . . .not in the Roadside Americana book but worth the stop.

See our Roadtrek on the right?

One last stop for the day was the Historic Kiskatinaw River Bridge. The only original timber bridge that is still in use today. The highway is 75 years old this year. We drove on the bridge after we took the pics.
